Update for 07

I had the baby. She is great. I'm still a mess.

Got a letter published in Wired about... diapers.

New page at jennygerbi.googlepages.com

New Job in July

Lots of new things.

Product recommendations: John Deere LA120. And, the roomba. Now, if they could make a roomba for cutting grass, that would be interesting. Roombas are bigger than you think if you've never seen one and the baby calls it a cat. It is black like the cat, and round like the cat, and I suppose wanders around like the cat, but it does not sound like the cat.

Also, dannon immunity yogurt drink. Nothing like sugarmilk to start off the day.

Also, a new thing, small doses of melatonin. Wikipedia it if interested.

Also, meijer organic blueberry puree, for babies.

Brag: we have one of the healthiest eating babies around. Why people feed crap to their kids, I just don't understand that. Some of the blogs I like I can hardly read because they feed their babies crap. No kid needs chicken fingers and cheetos. Or juice. It takes longer to feed her, but I think the effort is worth it to give her kale vs., oh, instant mashed potatoes.

Time to go. Snideness makes me tired.

So this is how it works, then...

I so don't have a livejournal. Don't let this fool you. I write my own pages, in html, and can barely remember how to put in pictures and crap. But, I don't want any other jennygerbis on livejournal, so whatever. I guess I have a page at www.prairienet.org/~gerbi, but I also don't update that either.

What you WON'T find on here, or any other of my webpages: pregnant belly pictures.

What you MAY find on here: product recommendations. I am a consumer reports shopper.

What you will DEFINITELY find on here: barely any updates.

Product recommendation of the day: Big Exercise Ball Thingy For Use as an Office Chair While Pregnant.
FREE Product recommendation of the day: well-written, disturbingly lurid harry potter fanfiction, of the Professor Snape variety. I suggest ashwinder.sycophanthex.com.

See, a post and TWO product recommendations. I aim to please.
